Family Resource Training

ESD 112 contracts with Early Support for Infants and Toddlers Program (DEL) to provide a system of statewide training for Family Resources Coordinators. The training provides for continuing education for coordinators who are registered through the Washington State Part C system. Training hours for all Washington Family Resources Coordinators are tracked through a data system at ESD 112. In addition a statewide publication, THE STARTING LINE is published three times a year for statewide dissemination.

Each family of an infant or toddler served under Part C is assigned a Family Resources Coordinator who:

  • facilitates the initial IFSP Meeting and subsequent reviews
  • assists the family in receiving the services and supports described on the IFSP
  • ensures their rights and safeguards
